Dr. Jaria C. Aljoe is an author, change agent, educator, leader, and mentor. Dr. Aljoe is the author of DIG DEEP: Daily Guide to Becoming an Effective Christian Leader and DIG DEEP: Journey to Discovering the 12 Minor Prophets. These devotionals are designed to encourage Christian leaders to deepen their relationship with God. She has over 10 years of experience in post-secondary education serving as an instructor, academic advisor, director of academic advising, assistant dean of students, and most recently assistant provost. Dr. Aljoe's focus of study is on helping professional and traditional students identify career and major alignment to meet their academic, personal, and educational goals.
Dr. Aljoe believes God has a purpose for everyone. She is the founder of Jaria Chanee Ministries. The mission of Jaria Chanee Ministries is to provide individuals with practical applications to support educational and spiritual growth. My Story
Dr. Jaria C. Aljoe graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Marketing. After graduating, she took some time to figure out her true passion in life. Following conversations with friends and mentors, Dr. Aljoe decided to pursue a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education from Central Connecticut State University.
In 2009, she rededicated her life to her first love, God, by becoming a born again Christian. Since then, she has worked faithfully in her local church, helping to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Part of her ministries includes teaching, leading worship, working with the youth and young adults, public relations, and more!

While attending a youth conference at her local church, God spoke to her through the guest preacher and told her to 'write the book.' The Holy Spirit brought to her remembrance she had been writing down her observations after reading passages of scripture for the last few years. Those daily journal devotions must be the book! In summer 2018 she began working on her first book, DIG DEEP: Daily Guide to Becoming an Effective Christian Leader, to be released August 2020. Dr. Aljoe released the second book in the DIG DEEP series titled DIG DEEP: Journey to Discovering the 12 Minor Prophets in November 2021.
Dr. Jaria C. Aljoe completed her doctoral studies in Educational Leadership at Central Connecticut State University in October 2020. Her dissertation focused on using a career-based theory to help individuals find their career paths based on their passions, personal interests, and values. She currently works as the Assistant Provost for Student Management at a private institution in Connecticut. Dr. Aljoe believes God has a great work for all of His children, and it is her goal to help everyone get to the next level in their relationship with God.

When I released my first book during the COVID-19 pandemic, I had to get creative because it was not safe to have an in-person launch party. God gave me the idea of "DIG DEEP: Conversations with Christian Leaders". What started out as a month-long series focusing on topics from my book has evolved into a regular Facebook Live series since 2020.
The original Facebook Live series is now being developed into a podcast! If you are new to the DIG DEEP journey or looking to be inspired, I invite you to listen to previously recorded episodes of DIG DEEP: Conversations with Christian Leaders wherever you get your podcasts.
